@wtcvidman What really kills me about all this is that Lex was more antagonistic and closer to fulfilling his destiny than any of the other past seasons! And It was at this moment that Michael Rosenbaum decided to leave. Could you imagine what he would have been like from season 8 onward if he didn't leave? He would have been, with the exception of the Joker, the greatest villain of them all

The fools (Al & Miles) should have also used this for the death of Lionel if they couldn't think of something by a classical composer.

I don't think there's a name to the music. It's part of the composer's music made specifically for the show, I believe, because we can hear those clear "Smallville" tones in there. I WISH it was available for purchase on itunes or something though. It's AMAZING.
