48 years ago, almost no one had heard of Szymanowski. A friend whose parents were from Poland asked them, when they went back there for a visit, to get any piano music they could find by Szymanowski, and they literally came back with everything. I learned. and performed in recitals, many of them. The interpretation was my own - I had no one else's interpretation to listen to. I find it very refreshing when I can hear someone perform them the way I thought they should be performed. Well done!
