Earth - Cinema 4D Animation

An Earth animation created and rendered in Cinema 4D.
Textures are from NASA's BlueMarble project.

I've tried improving my atmosphere model. A lot of the lens effects were done in AfterFX, such as chromatic abberation, colour correcting, lens-flares (using Optical Flares) and horizon blur through rotoscoping.

Thank you! I'm delighted and grateful that a tutorial is on the way. I started a model of the earth using this tutorial cinema4duser.../tech_tutorial0­1.htm and its looking good so far but I want to improve the atmosphere and it would be cool to see the lens effects you used. Good luck with your interview and studying; after seeing your work in this channel I'm sure you'll do great ;).

I'm dying to know the workflow from start to end; from modelling in C4D to adding the lens effects in the After Effects composite. I would go as far as to pay you to make such a tutorial!

@shelz321 Hey Man, I've been planning on doing an tutorial for ages but haven't gotten around to it due to study. Plus I have my animation interview next week lol. However I am definitely going to create a tutorial due to the amount of demand plus more space animations, just hang in there! :P
