The song that was playing at the night club is "Everyday Hurts" by Sad Cafe. They were a Manchester band and the single reached number 3 in the charts, back in September 1979 and you will find it on YouTube :-)

"Don't be silly, Chootchi..." I remember the dinner scene so vividly, makes me cringe every time. I love how this is so much darker than the series, shows a real sensitivity to the characters of Penny and Vince, makes us really care about them...and I hate Graham!
