lol, that comment about Torn made me giggle sorry, rushed... hardly it's one of their most complete CD's minus possibly the concept albums like 'The inner Circle, In search of the truth' (Inner circle being my fave CD of theirs) Evergrey are like a fine wine though they keep tasting better and better as they get older. Torn is a masterclass CD, songs like 'Torn, These Scars and even In confidence are perfectly done.

I love torn... don't get me wrong, but I think it was kind of sloppy, maybe rushed through it a little to fast. I'm confident the Next album will bring Evergrey back and better than ever

eh still seems subpar to me, i'm gonna try an older one though. newer does have good riffs to practice guitar on though

i agree with you on that.recreation day got me started but when i saw the touch of blessing vid.i had to pull out my guitar to play it at least the chorus line.but the inner circle album is one of my fav.

its very hard to compare the two because their very different styles, this one is alot more keyboard orriented and progressive
when i first heard the torn album i enjoyed it but was unimpressed, but it really grows on you after a while, give it a couple more listens and you'll realize theres alot more to it then what first appears
imo the inner circle and recreation day albums where by far the best

i feel sorry for this band they deserve more credit then they get.. Bands like this... True music.. But those Deathcore bands -my god- someone growls gets 10,000 hits... wtf is going on... That is not Metal.. Those are guys with congestion who get confused as Metal.. THIS IS METAL!!

Thats correct it's not metal, It's screamo or visual noise like Bring me the Horizon. Indeed this is metal, but screaming and growling is aswell one sort of metal, like Death and Hardcore Death Metal :O Anyways Evergrey ftw xD
