This now hard to find live-action special first aired on ABC in 1986, followed by a very popular VHS release.
Teddy Ruxpin creator Ken Forsse had previously worked on the live-action series "Welcome To Pooh Corner." Originally, the plan was to create a Teddy Ruxpin show in the same vein, and this pilot episode was produced. However, production costs and difficulties in this format led Alchemy II and Worlds Of Wonder to pursue an animated series instead.
I really like this version of the song "Come Dream With Me Tonight". Yours is the best quality version on Youtube, stereo too :)
