Surgical Friends Foundation is an organization that is working to provide reconstructive surgery and improve access to quality medical care by uniting patients, physicians and philanthropists.

There are millions of people in this country and around the world that do not have access to affordable and quality healthcare. The U.S. Census Bureau reported that in America, the country that spends the most on healthcare, there are 45.7 million people without health insurance. Health insurance costs are rising faster than wages and inflation, and medical causes is cited as the reason for bankruptcy in about half of filers. Healthcare in the developing world is usually non-existent or highly limited and under resourced. Disease affects not only individuals but families and entire communities.
