  • Jump in and do a front flip, right? The flip always gets me for a few seconds.

  • When I do a flip underwater I try to tuck in my knees to my chest and then put my arms straight out and make "arm circles" until I complete a rotation. It's probably the fastest and most efficient way to do a flip underwater before an underwater.

  • Thought you mentioned in a previous post you were going to do this again, only with a better camera and a clearer video. Looking forward to it, whenever it happens. Maybe you don't have the lungs to do 50 uw anymore, so I'm not pushing you.

  • Yes, I am practicing deep breathing while here in Iraq. When I get back I will try to round up a 2 or 3 guys to help video, spot, etc. It will probably be around November, so staye tuned for more action to come!

  • Just for the record the BUDS qualification swim is a 50 meter underwater swim. Candidates will enter into the water, execute a forward flip and complete 1 full lap up and back. Pretty much the same as depicted here. Do NOT ATTEMPT THIS without qualified individuals on hand as shallow water blackout is fatal! Congrats. If you are looking for fun, maybe give underwater football a try. It can be a blast, and is great for building stamina.

  • That flip has to be brutal to the mind. That's an extra 5-8 seconds!

  • What a stud

  • i can do this just kicking. no pulling.

  • @wererandom101 dude, 50 meters is after a 6 mile run, Carrying a 450 lb rail, carrying a 70 rucksack all day, at least 500 pushups, weight training, cardio training, and extensive book work. This is SUPERMAN school, youre in PUSSY school.

  • @Spikesoldat hes at lackland, PJ

  • nice mask :)))

  • Awesome! I never tried a 50 with a giant stride...gotta try it sometime but it's definitely a challenge.

  • Awesome!

  • So im confused. You doing this training for Pararescue or SEALs?

  • Technique and relaxation. Even when your body curses you for not breathing. You have to relax and resist stroking like a mad banshee. It'll be over soon.

  • I don't see what the hypes about today I did two lengths of a 20 metre pool hungover and having never attempted or trained anything similar. If I trained surely the last 10 metres would be too gruelling?
