Ive got a Japanese art book that shows the original designs and artwork behind this scene. The original pencil sketches are completely amazing.
I'm selling it on EBay at the moment, its called the "AKIRA ANIMATION ARCHIVES". It Includes all the original pencil sketches done whilst designing the film. Everything from the characters, vehicles and backgrounds is shown.
Search "AKIRA ANIMATION ARCHIVES" on Ebay. Its pretty rare, even in Japan, but completely awesome.
