  • Laws of Creation/Intelligent Design

1st- something can come from nothing as long as God did it.

2nd- energy can be created and destroyed.

3rd- if it walks, talks, looks, sounds, tastes and smells like a Duck and says it's a Duck, it's Not.

4th- if you don't understand something, God did it.

5th- when all logic, reason and common sense are against you, quote the Bible.

6th- the Bible is proof that the Bible is true so quoting the bible is fact.

7th- denial is the path to enlightenment.

  • @aandot exraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. The onus on you is to prove it and not the other way round. With no evidence, you have just a myth with no more validity then a magicians trick.

  • Nice job

  • @aandot

The reason you don't think anyone has disprove the resurrection is because you have a confirmation bias. You take in supporting evidence with open ears but will accept any old reason not to consider evidence to the contrary.

Jesus is a legend. Those people in the Bible, the ones who saw him, how do we even know they are real? You realize that, in the order the Gospels were written, Jesus becomes more miraculous. It was like a rebooting a comic book, basically.

  • e) My apologies...corrections are:

Finally, truth defends itself, nor does it need to be defended in the final analysis; it never changes!

So if the resurrection of Christ were one of these so-called “truths,” it would have died a long time ago, as it touches the supernatural!

  • d) ...the supernatural! Is that enough impetus for you to launch a serious attack on this very crucial issue of Christianity—the resurrection of Jesus Christ?

  • c) What I’m trying to say is this: If the Resurrection weren’t true, wouldn’t it have buried itself in the mud a long time ago? Finally, truth defends itself, nor does it need to be defended; it never changes. Some “truths,” certainly, are shifting sands, and they come and go like women’s fashion! So if the resurrection of Christ is one of these so-called “truths,” it would have died a long time ago, as it touches on...

  • b) This would have dealt a deathblow on Christianity as a whole, wouldn’t it?

Instead of winning the war, why are anti-creationists or humanists not able to convince the world that the Resurrection was indeed the biggest historical hoax? Why is it that more and more people all over the world are celebrating Christ’s resurrection (Easter), as though it is the truth? Of course, this is not to say that the number of people who believe determines the truth of a matter that is believed upon.

  • a) Instead of focusing on little issues like the age of the earth, I would focus on or challenge the really, really critical issues. If I were you, I would try and disprove the resurrection of Jesus Christ, because this is THE foundational truth or fallacy on which Christianity stands or falls. How come no one, to my knowledge—after more than 2,000 years—has managed to convincingly prove that the resurrection of Christ was indeed a fake?
