James May BBC Top Gear Christmas Special 2010 Heroic Fail

My very own dubbed clip from the 2010 Top Gear Middle East Special, where James May takes a turn for the worst after attempting to assist Jeremy Clarkson on location in Syria.

The TV presenter James May has been injured while filming on location in Syria. The accident took place during a shoot for the BBC car show Top Gear, replicating the journey of the Three Wise Men.

May, 47, was assisting colleague Jeremy Clarkson in getting his car out of a ditch in a remote desert location when he hit his head on a rock, knocking himself unconscious.

May was rushed to hospital where he received a brain scan and stitches. The incident can be seen on the Top Gear Christmas special on Boxing Day on BBC2.

To anyone who thinks he tripped, this word of advice:

Get the hell off the couch and experience some real world dynamics. Put down your silly game controller and go do something...anything.

When that strap snapped tight, the position of his feet was irrelevant. He was swept off his feet and slammed to the ground all in one move. BTW, people don't fall with that speed and force; you'll learn stuff like that as you begin to explore 'walking' and things like that...
