I should clarify my last comment. Dirk Bogarde's characters could often be described as "pantywaste", however, that is not a reflection on the man, but, a compliment to his acting ability. My previous criticism, taken out of context, could be construed as an attack on the man. I am not qualified, or predisposed to doing so. He was a gifted actor and remarkable man. My apologies.
