I completely agree. The day after the debate the majority of fellow Canadians I spoke to either asked if I watched the US debate or were just generally discussing it. I was pretty shocked. They may be our neighbours, but they certainly don't run our country.
Y'know, there are thousands of uploads and forum responses to the virtually (I know; if McCain has a stroke...)irrelevant American VP debate on YouTube. I wonder if anyone other than me watched the Canadian debate tonight. I think that Canadians simply vote for the party that they've always voted for with the swing voters ousting the Liberals now and then. You'll likely tune in to your favorite morning media pundit and regurgitate whatever they say as it is you're critical opinion. Sad!
