i hate that magic circle. i just can't get it. :( when i'm done with my circle it's like a big blob, i can't tell where the stitches are so i'm just guessing and it comes out a big mess by the 2nd round. Is there another pattern without the magic cirlce? Like where you just chain in the beginning and do it the regular way?

My mitten turned out smaller than the one you made, I used the same crochet hook and yarn, I must have crocheted mine too tight.... I did add 2 more rows to the wrist band part, it is seriously cut!!! :)
Your tutorials are the only ones I watch, I love them. Thank you SOOOO much! :)

I'm curious to know what age infant would these kittens fit up too?

Hi Teresa, I have a question. sometimes I get so confused when watching various crocheter's. My question is when you start a chain, or finish a line and say "chain 4" for example. Do you count the loop you start with and just add 3 more? Or do you chain 4 and have a starting loop? Im confused 8(

@moneysaverlady When you finish a row and start a new row, you will not count the loop on your hook. That loop is part of the stitch or segment that you just completed. When you progress to a new row or round, you will start with a new count. If you instructions tell you to chain three, you will work three new chains. I hope that makes sense.

Hello Teresa, first off I want to say thank you so much for these tutorials; they've helped me create so many new things that I never knew I could do. I do have a question for this one though; at the end, is it important to do the front post single crochet or can I add something different? I am not sure exactly what I am doing but mines does not seem to be coming out right. Thank you so much for you're help!

@tianabayron You can work different stitches and change the pattern. By experimenting with different stitches and techniques on an existing pattern, will help you learn about modification. Please share a picture or video response when you are finished.
