Warning - If you watch this video you will see one of us puke. If you are squeamish you might not want to watch!

On October 3rd, Ryan and Mike had the luxury (Thanks Ford!) of flying with AirCombat ( http://www.aircombatusa.com ). AirCombat gives people a chance to experience air-to-air combat in their Marchetti SF-260s. Absolutely incredible and unforgettable - totally worth it, even with the airsickness.

The experience takes just about three hours, with around one hour in the air, this 10 minute section is the culmination of the flight - dogfighting. As you can see - one of us ate a bit too much for breakfast. Either way this should give you an idea of what the experience is like!

  • When he was getting sick he should have pulled some negative G's =D

  • @hurlingstar1 That would have been rough.

  • How many G's are you allowed to pull,do u know?

  • @hurlingstar1 I'm pretty sure I remember one of us pulling about 4Gs. The planes they use are rated to +6/-3 Gs

  • @rmdembroski I did the dogfight with a couple of friends in Apr 2009, and since I already experienced Gs in some other planes, I was able to get 6 Gs in that dogfight and both me and the instructor had the "black curtain" effect for some like 0.3/0.4 secs.

IT was an astonish experience, but, besides a little bit of scare (luckily afterwards), it was awesome overall. We pushed to our limit.

  • @costan1974 It's an amazing experience to be sure. I've now got about 15 hours of dual instruction under my belt, so I'd love to go back and give it a try now that I actually now how things work. Sounds like you had some fun! Thanks for watching!

  • @costan1974 enough airspeed, I pulled the yoke to my chest as fast and close as I can. Obviously I also yawed opposite to the spin, thus allowing a full recover in a very short time. Since I was almost 90 nose down, I almost disappeared on the opponent view, while the barrel roll allowed me to forward him. He tried to nose down, but was unable to sustain the Gs afterwards, and thus he left the roll and leaved to stationary flight (to avoid the stomach-ache), and I got his tail and ..

  • @rmdembroski I have to admit I had almost 40h of flying Private Pilot License training (on poor man's C172), so I was aware of how things work, and I had some aerobatics on SF-260 here in Italy (over Como's Lake). We had a 3.5Gs then after a huge lunch.. It was really unconfortable. After that, I was pretty sure I can do anything without any stomach risk :)

When we did 6Gs on Aircombat, we run into a spin before, I did a nose down with a barrel roll in meanwhile, and after I got

  • they have this in the UK where ur in a stunt plane, i may give it ago
