This is one of four 5500 gallon cisterns being constructed by Innovative Water Solutions for a rainwater collection system in Denton, TX. Rainwater is directed from the buildings roof into these cisterns - the water is then used for irrigation. • Hey, little cistern, don't you do what your big cistern done!

  • Meh, I can build cheaper and better using concrete and beer cans. Make it egg shaped too in order to make the water constantly move on its own to keep it fresher. Too much resilience on modern tech, not enough using our noodles.

  • @pgm98387 No!

  • whoops i meant $1300 US

  • how do you use just concrete? plain concrete is too porous to keep water without leaks, using ferro is the cheapest, little sand little water , little portland cement done, very strong light and and hold massive amounts of water. and the sand and plaster makes it leak resistant.

  • this cistern cost them approx. 300 dollars US.

  • Woah..way cool!
