This guy really used to kick ass. May his soul be playing in a better place. RIP

@juampialarcon either that or youre just trying to play fast, people who play heavy metal usually play only a few notes over and over but really fast so you have to use a pick, and on songs with more melodies (iron maiden perhaps) its easier to use fingers to switch through the strings faster

@ildur answering ur question: yup kinda lol
-
Are you just trying to look stupid?
If you know Gamma Ray, you should know that Dirk Schläkter is a great bass player... With both pick and fingers. He usually plays the slow songs with fingers and the fast with pick, but I he can do the other way around if he just wants to.
-
@ildur cuz if u play guitar with finger means u hav skill, but if u play bass with pick means u suck with ur fingers
-
Why are finger guitarists cool while pick bass player is not? That doesn't follow any logic at all.
-
@ildur They're cool..
-
So what do you say about guitarists who plays with fingers then?
-
@ildur its called being a real bassist..

Yeah, I typically put out a bass intensive version of every collaboration I make because there are a cadre of my viewers that find it easier to learn a tune with the bass turned up.
It's also the perfect excuse to plug the collab video. This whole project was so awesome, to bad we never had a drummer to share it with.
