A quick overview of my 1959 Ford AM tube radio.

@steelers6titles Well, Wikipedia says that Philco was bought by Ford in 1961. This particular radio was built by Motorola. Though it does have tubes, it is a hybrid model and uses 4 tubes and 2 transistors, type 2N176 and type 2N573

Didn't Philco make Ford auto radio equipment back then?
Interesting that this was a tube unit, as late as 1959. By then, transistors were pretty common (little portables with earplugs were in wide use).
