I'm not sure what you mean since it was the Loyalists who were conducting progroms and burning out Catholic neighbourhoods resulting in the IrIsh army having to set up field hospitals over the border to cater for the streams of refugees. In fact OIRA were too busy with class struggle and non-sectarian politics that they left the communities at the mercy of the genocide. Some old militants had to arm themselves to defend them, hence PIRA

@Enochsawit you can insult me if you like the fact of the matter is , here i am in Ireland, living and breathing it. I will not be insulted and told a false history by a man who claims im less than him because of my nationality and i dont care who disagrees with that. Be they canadian , irish marsian or if their entire lineage was burned out out of ardoyne. @kargwain187 Wrong, My family was burned out of Ardoyne in 1971 when the R.A. were modeling their ethnic cleansing for future conflicts. I left Ireland as a young man. I will always insult sectarian bigotry for it stems from the small minds of small people. Ireland will never be free as long as its so called heros are enslaved to the griefs of the past, along with manipulated half truths. I hate neither loyalist or republican but comments like yours keeps Ireland locked in the 1970's
