is bigger really better? i think a 150watt rms 10inch sub is louder than a 18inch 150watt rms sub isnt it?

@xxBlackpspxx Bigger cone area makes it louder, if it sounds better or not is subjective, but I want it to sound good, and I want to be able to turn it up loud :)

@xxBlackpspxx you cant really compare the two subs that much because that ten is getting alot more closer to its power ratings than the 18 but the 18 has more cone space but also not as tight of bass so it really just depends on how you use the subwoofer

@CFH4E i have had many brands and i think ascendant,dd and sundown are all better than jl. i'm not saying the w7 is crap because it is not. i even have a w7 and a w6. they hit hard but not like my aa mayhem 12".

@xxBlackpspxx depends on where its at. ive seen 2 10's do 151 while one of the 10's were broken. it depends on the box, area and sub
