  • If there is squeaking when the headset is turned from side to side would that likely mean it has to be adjusted or do the bearings need servicing? Thanks

  • @sgtlzy Yes, they should undoubtedly be replaced. Any pitting is a bad side and you run the risk of ruining bearings and cups.

  • If either fork race (upper or lower) has small pits where the bearings ride, should they be replaced? Thanks!
