@supermephiles124 That is pure speculation, and not based on fact at all. DW was cancelled in 1985 and again in 1989 purely and simply because it was rating badly. The reason it rated badly was that the BBC refused to fund it properly. The show looked cheap and out of date and talky and frankly embarrassing...I would have cancelled it too, purely to end the shame.
