i do like this arangement of devils trill, but im trying to find the original, or mabye a score for just the violin solo part for it,( might try and play it) if there are any tips on where to go [ just message me]

@zangetsu906 It's hard to find recordings of Taritin's original score. I'm lucky enough to even have the score. I don't have a recording of it.

@zyde Yes. Message me with your email address and I'll forward the score to you. Yeah, it's not an easy piece, but even a beginner can begin to hack away at it little by little. I did! I'm still not good at it, but I enjoy trying.

See, I like these versions so much better! The one by Vanessa Mae, although good, was not how it should be. The song is not supposed to be upbeat with a bass pump in the background... -_- Not that I'm saying anything agianst her, she's an awesome violinist, but, still, original pieces, GREAT pieces such as the Devil's trill should have the remixing kept to a minimum.

If this performance doesn't make you feel something, get your pulse checked. You may be recently dead. Shumsky has the tensest line this side of Heifetz.

I agree 100% on this. *nodnod* Vanessa's was good, and she is very talented to have learned this piece, but I found it much too upbeat.
