On June 15, 1990, my adoption was finalized. I was just shy of five years old, but love took me in on November 5, 1985 when my adoptive parents received custody of me. I was 40 days old, sick, weak, and had received inadequate care from a woman who despite the fact that I was her fourth baby, had very poor parenting skills. Everything changed for me. The Lord knew that these people He had placed me with would love me and protect me the way she could not. My tears for my parents are joyful now.

I used to play this song all of the time, when I was single. Then my husband "took me in", and the love of God became so tangible! This is one of the songs we played at our wedding. Thank You, Jesus! You're awesome! Thank You for taking me in soooo many years ago.

I was adopted December 1st 1980 from Guatemala City Guatemala and I thank the Lord for giving me a wonderful mom and stepdad who is my dad, and more importantly introducing me to Jesus my Savior

this reminds me how lucky i am to be adopted... On december 13th i will have been adopted for 11 years<3 I love you mom and dad! thanks for taking me to my real home and showing me the Love of Jesus<3 i couldnt thank anyone enough for the life i have now compared to what might have been.
