This is a compilation video of some of the best footage I filmed on a freezing afternoon at the Loki Clan Wolf Refuge on the border of Maine and New Hampshire, United States.

You'll see many of the rescued wolfdogs which are now cared for and protected at the refuge. Also you'll be able to witness just how close we can get to these beautiful animals.

Thanks to all (your in the credits) for making it such a enjoyable visit!

  • @1PAcouchpotato wolfdogs are not hybrids actually. The dog is a subspecies of a wolf so breeding a wolf and a dog is like breeding a dog and a dog, you don't call mutts hybrids do you? Plus if it was a true hybrid, the offspring would be sterile. True hybrids like ligers and mules are sterile because of the DNA difference, and because around 98% of wolf and dog DNA are the same, they produce healthy fertile offspring. Don't get me wrong here, I am all out AGAINST wolfdog breeding.

  • @1PAcouchpotato Hybrids arent horrible lol

  • cool

  • I grew up with the guy who owns this place. He was one of my parents best friends. Fred Keating is a great man with a huge heart. Most of these animals are wolf/dog hybrids abandoned by people who no longer wanted them as pets. They are now well loved and cared for and very safe and happy.....

  • Fenrir, was Loki's son?

  • Loki Clan is a truly amazing place. I volunteered there for a long weekend last summer... it is truly an amazing place. The wolf-dogs are happy, and Mr. Keating (the man who runs it) is a truly amazing man. If anyone has the ability to donate either their time or money, it is a VERY good cause, and one that has a very direct impact on some amazing animals.

  • Wolves are amazing animals! They are very brilliant and they have feelings just like we do!...be kind to all God's creatures and less disasters we face in this life!
