This groove is a bit tricky but has a great feel to it. It has been played in songs such as Zeppelin's "Fool in the Rain" and Toto's "Rosanna" and originated from a fellow drummer named Bernard Purdie. The music running in the background is a "drumless track" I found on the web. I tweaked the sound even further including a coated Ambassador on the kick instead of the PS3, let me know what you think.

  • @GrooveDrummin You'd be a GREAT session drummer for Jeff Beck.

  • @jeffreygaudreault

that would be a dream come true :)))

  • This set sounds boss man! I'm getting a 24" bass Ludwig kit soon, how are you tuning your bass? I've always gone for attack and not roundness, but this tuning sounds rediculous man! Good drummin too

  • @JoeyStewart1990

loose batter, similar tension on reso if anything a little tighter than batter. Thank you bro!
