I will admit that Mitt Romney's audience on Super-Tuesday was so boisterous it sounded like an Amway convention. I remember in the 2008 primaries, so did John McCain's. As B.B. King would say, once the general election came around, most of us were singing "The thrill is Gone".

Romney is trying to upgrade from a membership in a cult to running the new GOP cult.

I thought Joe Trippi best captured the collective GOP stupidity best when he said Republicans are so afraid of Obama getting another term, all they see in the GOP candidates are their faults. That makes sense. They reject anybody real in favor of a perfect, mythical Mr. Good Pol who looks good but is completely empty inside. Gee, isn't that what just happened with Mr. Hope and Change? Isn't anybody (other than George Soros) thinking about what damage a Romney presidency might mean?

    1. Maybe Romney learned the "rally the team" tactics during his missionary days - but the number of conservative endorsements he's landed is so shocking, there must be more.

    2. I agree about Fox News, Morris and the rest. Today, even Michele Bachmann said "people want it to be over" !!!! I've all but stopped watching Fox, now part of the MSM.

    3. Why should the GOP try to guess Obama's preference in opponents and base their choice on the Dems' judgment? Do they think Team Obama knows best?
