I Can't Stand Up For Falling Down: Chapter 41 Part 2

"Um...nothing...just...things." He grins knowingly "So do you have time to sit for a few minutes?" She glances down at the two coffees and thinks *Susan won't mind, she'll understand.* "Yeah, that would be nice." "Oh, wait you have one for Susan." Lisa giggles "It's okay, she'll understand." "Great!" he grabs the coffee that was just set on the counter for him and guides her to the back corner of the shop. Lisa recognized the table as the same one they had sat at before. He pulls the chair out for her "Thank you!" she says, she sits down gazing at her. She asks "Did you get what you wanted done yesterday?" He takes a sip of his coffee "Yeah, You'll have to come over and listen." Lisa smiles "I'd really like that." "So how did your Tourist Day go?" he asks she giggles "It was so fun, we acted like total fools." Kevin laughs at her enthusiasm "I'm glad you had a good time. So how did the Party the night before go. You're text had me wondering." Lisa's cheery face dims, she replies with a sad tone "Oh, that well not so great.... well I mean the party itself was cool and I made a new friend...Oh that sounds so Kindergarten....Tracy she's really cool she's a personal trainer...But other than that the Party wasn't what I expected." "Why? What Happened?" He presses with concern as he reaches over and clasps her hand in his. She grins at his warm touch "Well, Colin..*sigh* Colin got a little....Oh, It was my fault really; I was sending him the wrong signals." Kevin peers at her questioningly as she continues "Well he ..he thought I was interested in him and well he...." she watches as his facial expression changes form one of concern and worry to angry "Nothing Happened" she says quickly "I pushed him away and told him I wasn't interested...well to make a long story short, he got upset and said a few things...calling me a couple of names in the process...It was just...never mind...I just want to forget it. Susan and I came home after that." He squeezes her hand "I should have gone with you." Lisa grins "No, it was probably better that you weren't there." He raises his eyebrows "Why?" she sighs "That may have caused a whole other scene. I told him I was into someone else. I won't be hearing anymore from him....Now what are your plans for the rest of today." He looks at his watch and sighs "I wish I could say I was free for the day but...I'm not we're in the studio this afternoon working with friends of ours, Honor Society. We're Producing their debut CD." "Wow that's great." "Hey you should come along, and meet the guys." Lisa smiles "That would be great but Susan's waiting at home for me." She says as she points to the second cup of coffee. "Oh yeah, I forgot." He looks down disappointed. Suddenly she remembers something from yesterday. "Oh hey! You never told me you guys had a TV show." "Huh... Oh yeah. Next Saturday How did you know?" she laughs "A huge Billboard on the Freeway, I almost drove into the ditch when I saw it, Your faces 40 feet tall. It was kinda Scary." He chuckles "Yeah, that would be a Little Scary, I'm glad you didn't drive into the ditch though." Lisa blushes "So what's it about." "Us pretty much, in it we live in a old Firehouse though." "Does it have a pole?" Lisa asks jokingly. He chuckles "Three actually." Lisa laughs "No way, and Joe got all Freaky when he saw I had one. Oh, I got to tease him on that!" Kevin smirks "It's a show you know, not Real." Lisa blushes "Sorry just got a little carried away." "We're having a Premiere party next week I was hoping you'd like to go." He asks trailing off nervously at the end. She smiles "Wouldn't miss it." He smiles broadly "Great!" He looks down at his watch again and Lisa inquires "You got to go, don't you?" He sadly nods "Yeah, I'm already a little late." Lisa exclaims "Oh, Sorry, I didn't mean to keep you." He smirks "You didn't and I really don't want to leave, but I have too." She nods in agreement "That's okay, Work calls, do you have any free time over the next couple of days?" He shakes his head disappointedly "No, Not really. I wish I did!" Lisa gives him a disappointed grin "It's okay we can catch up later." He reluctantly stands up "Yeah, that would be terrific. Well I'd better go, Nick is probably Freaking, wondering where I am." Lisa giggles, he leans down and kisses her forehead and gives her a half hug. "I'll see you soon, Lisa, Promise." She gives him a tight lipped smile and answers "Yeah, Bye Kevin." She watches as he walks to the door her heart dropping from the high it had experienced from the moment he walked in to the shop. As he pushes the door open, he turns and waves then disappears around the side of the building. She sighs and stands slowly, looking at the cold coffees sitting in front of her, realizing she hadn't even drank her own. She picks the cups up and heads alone out to her car.

I bet whan the stopped filming joe would go crazy running up and sliding down the poles! haha! he probably even had sliding races with nick and kev! haha! wow! that would be amazing to see! haha them three shirtless sliding down the pole!XD haha! i bet all the girls working on the set probably set chairs in front the poles and sat their with popcorn and drinks and def. single dollar bills! haha put some music on and just left na spot light on the poles theyd be comming down of! haha XD
