I test rode one of these 2 days ago. It was a blast. I need more wind protection, and I hated the way the turn sig's work, esp. the separate cancel button.
But, if I could spare the money, I'd have bought on. Instead I got a Suzi DL650.
Maybe some day, though.
Enjoy yours!

I have one myself and love it.

The R1200R is a dream. I went without it (moved to a snow state) for two months and wanted to buy a new bike every day. Finally got this one out of storage again and don't feel like I need to buy anything else for a LONG time!

Beautiful motorcycle But, I do wish the back fender seat was a little lower.

@fleetingdays - On some longer trips I used to sit up on the rear seat to stretch out haha. :)

This is my 3rd pick in my possible TOP 5 candidates for my new bike for the Summer of 2011 !

@GreenTransportation - Unfortunately, this bike was totaled in dramatic fashion back in April 2010. You would not be disappointed with an R1200R. Rode it in town and cross country, one trip even over 2,000 miles in a very chilly March! I'd recommend an aftermarket windshield and a throttle friction for the longer trips. Averaged about 44mpg, and I didn't ride slow... Have fun and enjoy whatever you decide to get! Yes, I for one am buying another R1200R :)

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W290. Your basic point-and-shoot camera. I can't wait to get a real video camera!
