i killed this big bucked with my longbow from treestand it was a "do it yourself" type of hunt. my longbow is 53 lbs and i shoot a 150 grain woodsman broadhead attached to a 100 grain brass insert and carbon express heritage shaft with 4 inch shielded feathers

Crap argument dude. The motivations behind hunting like that were completely different to those depicted in this video.
Why kill an animal by a means that causes unnecessary suffering when you can use a gun? Oh that's right, because Cro-Magnon ape-men didn't have guns... ironically, they didn't have bows either.

any deer with a compound is a good deer, any deer with a trad bow is a trophy but you my friend have just done somthing amazing, congradulations on your deer!

I am still in college and don't have the time to learn how to shoot traditional, but on my days off from school and i am at home I shoot and make traditional gear. pumphousee00 it was a lung shot. it was severally quartering away and went right up in there. when i was gutting him he had a perfect X in the middle right where both lungs meet. and the hole you saw in the video was from a opossum or coyotes because i left him over night. and i never said he was a 140 class buck. it grossed 133 and probably will only officially score lower 120's. but for a homemade long bow its a big trophy to me

@oldschooloutdoors dude its the worst! i couldnt believe i found it tho. what a great feeling! to bad the coyotes got into it a little but nothing to serious to damage any of the meat

Awesome job man! This isn't my channel so I'm not the one into skateboarding and stuff, but I just got into archery and can't wait for the archery season this year! It's a long ways away but I'll be well practiced by then I hope.
