I forgot to add a clip on how I prefer to take the batt off the drum, so I edited it and it is now in the clip towards the end. In Part 1 we'll learn how to prepare fiber for carding.

I forgot to add a clip on how I prefer to take the batt off the drum, so I edited it and it is now in the clip towards the end. In Part 1 we'll learn how to prepare fiber for carding. I am using a Pat Green Deb Delux drumcarder in all the videos which was purchased from Susan's Fiber Shop in Columbus WI. :)

Hey, rexenne, you remind me of my crazy sister. I sheared sheep for the first time and you are helping me do the rest. Just getting ready to card the washed wool. Thanks! Fleece be with you!
I LOVE your enthusiasm! So many people get on here and are just like "blah blah blah" in the most bland tone EVER and makes me not care about what they are saying. You make this FUN so yay! :D
Great video.Learned something new.I use a bamboo placemat for felting and i loved how u used it to pull it of the drum..magnificent.Also freaked out when i saw u use the paddle carder for a top brush while the fiber is still on the wheel.i have a set of those from b4 i got the drum carder.I still use them to flick out my locks instead of buying all new flick carder. Now i can use them for that to instead of buying a brush attatchment.Nice.
Hey, which drum did you get? I just bought my Deb's Deluxe (It got here last Friday, woohoo) I got the fur drum and I'm thinking I should have maybe gone with the other drum... My batts come out very compact, but that might be because I use the burnishing tool very liberally?
