@bobo7813 Lenny Welch was actually the 10th person to sing this,and the 9th to record it.The writers sister Ella Johnson made it popular,but i don't think she ever recorded it.

This shows that 1: kids don't know too much i.e., "this song was originally sung by Barbara Strreisand".. uh, uh. Lenny Welch sang it originally.
2: Kids today want to screw-up songs by doing the AA style.

Going with what Randy said, Katharine was my favorite from day one, too... Still would've liked to see her win, but hey, at least she's doing better than Taylor! I still listen to her newer stuff (her second album was a vast improvement from the first, in my opinion) and I'm excited for her Christmas album! :)

@Venue0309 I forgot they even had a dog pound, haha. I miss seeing just the original three judges (and I'm going to miss Kara DioGuardi). This season is going to SUCK (not that I've been following AI much since Katharine lost :/ ).

Most dont realize but that songs is difficult to sing and she sang it well. I noticed that katherine is naturally soulful when it comes to her singing. i enjoyed it.
