Sujay Tyle is currently the Vice President of Business Development at Scopely, a venture-backed social gaming company in Los Angeles. He was awarded one of Peter Thiel's 20 under 20 Fellowships and took a leave of absence from Harvard University in 2011, where he had matriculated at age 15. Prior to working at Scopely, Sujay led Market Strategy at Kyruus, a healthcare IT start-up in Boston. While at Harvard, Sujay worked at the Blackstone Group in Tokyo, Japan and conducted malaria research in Dakar, Senegal.

Sujay and his older brother Sheel founded ReSight in 2008, which democratizes eye care services and employs "vision guardians," underprivileged citizens who have previously undergone eye treatment with ReSight's aid. Over 40,000 people have been screened to date with their pilot partner, the LV Prasad Eye Institute.

Sujay has received distinctions from AT&T, Coca-Cola, DuPont, HSBC, Intel, Sanofi-Aventis, The Thiel Foundation, The Weather Channel and Toyota. He has been featured on 60 Minutes, ABC, CNBC, and FOX, and in BusinessWeek, Forbes, and India Abroad for his achievements.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
