I know you cant do this at home as it is a professional machine. But i'm glad its on here because I'm taking my boots to a professional tmr and wanted to know exactly how they were gonna do it. I'm satisfied. Thanks Harry n EV

You can get a hand version of the machine, it is basically like a shoe tree, but with a threaded bit that spreads the toe, they are sold in versions that stretch the width of the forefoot, and ones that enlongate the shoe. Or if its tight you can soak it down with shoe stretch solution and it will stretch out. You can also take a regular shoe tree and cram it into the shoe with something extra to make it bigger.
If your shoes aren't leather.... buy different shoes?

You also can keep a pair of emergency heel tips on hand. It's easy to do yourself and you can order them online! I order them whenever I buy a new pair of heels (as insurance!)
and how am i supposed to do this at home, i dont have this machine, and my shoes arent leather!!!
