the Auburn Tigers, and yes Auburn does no have a real mascot tiger, but we do have Aubie the Auburn mascot. The golden eagle you are referring to is a symbol of our battle cry "War Eagle!" and has nothing to do with the teams name. Its a tradition unlike any other. It basically stands for never quit and just keep fighting. Get your facts straight before you talk like that about Auburn.
