  • It is too late to talk about gun control.

If the government told everyone to turn in all guns, only people who obey laws would turn them in. No criminals would turn in their guns.

All of a sudden, every small-time thug would be the big man on campus. He would be able to do anything knowing that no law-abiding citizen has a gun to stop him.

  • one point i see is MASSIVELY for civilian gun posession. i live in a country (Poland) where you get a 'reasonably' limited influx of foreigners, amongst them illegal immigrants. thus we can claim we more or less know who's inside and can control it (one of the reasons being most of them immigrants go to western europe as their first choice lol). the point being: usa citizens only barely control who's inside their country - and in that situation i would WANT to have a gun.

  • NO you would be wrong if the government had people turn in their guns there would be a spike in criminal posation of guns because now the law abiding citizen would become a criminal because i know i wouldnt turn my guns in would you.

  • TAKE A HIKE BITCH, 80 MILLION AMERICANS (CONSERVATIVELY) OWN FIREARMS, THE BRITISH STARTED THE WAR ON THE COLONIES BY GOING AFTER THE GUNS AND THE BLACK POWDER FOR THEM, TRY IT AGAIN AND YOU WILL LOSE.

  • I'm pretty sure more children have been seriously injured or killed by falling flat screen TVs in Australia than have been seriously injured or killed by guns. Sorry Rebecca.

  • @qwexas She's Australian and was no more qualified to make her input felt in Australia. Didn't stop her turning us into a ridiculous bureaucracy. She then went to the UN to push her 'views' worldwide.

  • becky peters needs to get george soros to pay for her to get her teeth fixed. That gap is freaking huge. Anyways, I will NEVER give up my guns. If guns ever become illegal, I will become and OUTLAW.

  • Gun Culture = Orientalism.

Gun Discipline = Armed Enlightenment = functional democracy.

See Said, Orientalism; Foucault, Discipline & Punish.

Let's please engage with the academic disciplines on this issue. Politicians are just out to fuck us: they are not stupid, they do not believe in the logic and arguments of gun control. Gun advocates: your argument is airtight. That's why gun control advocates are so infuriating. Don't waste your time arguing with these people.

  • Gun Control = Orientalism.

  • What qualifies the female guest to comment on the opinions of Americans? Her accent sounds British. EXTREMIST pro-gun lobby? Please! I'm American, and a LOT of us are pro-gun, just less vocal and too lazy to join the NRA. There are far more people in the NRA supporting guns than there are anti-gun people opposing them.

  • Ron Paul is running, and this time he has a chance. Pro-gun, and he opposes the reckless government spending that got us into our economic crisis!

"Why is gun crime so low in Finland when they have so many guns?" This question seems to assume gun legality causes crime, so Finland would be an anomaly that requires explanation. The host has anti-gun preconception, head so far up his ass the guest can't pull it out for him.

  • Americans will never give up there gun rights, the vast majority of us support the right to bear arms and do not support banning guns. This Rebbeca Peters is a leftist and works for the extreme far left globalist anti gun organizations like the UN. The vast majority of citizens in the world wish they had the right to protect themselves. Gun control only leady to more and more violence, england, canada and Australia has reported an increase in crime since their countries banned firearms.
