The movies do NOT build upon each other, so Kat, Wendy (the ONLY one to exist in the source comics from Harvey, since Universal made all the rest up to shill out money from the franchise), Holly, Mantha, etc. do not know of each other & for Casper's sake--since Universal plays him off like a cute casanova--a good thing too.
