Don't Trust Me Chapter 24 (Unknown Visitor)

-Daisy's POV-

I decided that before I went home I would go to Joe's hous and get my stuff from there. It took me a good 20 minutes to get there. When I walked in, I heard choking noises upstairs and ignored it. It was most likely Nick choking the shit outta Amanda. But that's not my business. I went upstairs and walked into Joe's room. When I walked in Joe was sitting on the bed waiting for me. Oh great. Just what I needed. -End POV-

Joe- I knew you'd come back.
Daisy- yeah, I just came to get my things.
Joe- oh.
Daisy- sorry.
Joe- *gets up and grabs Daisy by the waist* listen, I'm sorry about earlier.
Daisy- oh, so now you apologze after you thought that arguing with my brother was more important than the game, AND spending time with me?
Joe- Like I said I-
Daisy- stop. I know, you said "i apologize" i just really don't care right now. Just let me get my stuff
Joe- *grabs her arm before she can move*
Daisy- *looks at him without any expression and sees the hurt in his eyes then looks away* let me go.
Joe- *lets her go without a second thought*
Daisy- *picks up bookbag and walks to the door without looking at him* i'll see you at school. *walks out, and downstairs then out of the house, but nobody locks the door*
-Later-
???- *walks up to the door and opens it* Anyone here? *walks upstairs and hears noises coming from Nick's room* Nick? is that you? *peeks in the room and gets wide eyed as she witnesses the scariest thing in her life*
