@chrisharrahsvideos I've just got my Digitech Whammy, and I had exactly the same problem, The first thing I had to do when I got it was take off the little rubber feet from under the pedal. It works great now!

@newQns Cheers mate, was ready to hex the gentleman in the video!

@newQns thank you! you were right! the mistake is that you have to release the knob when is still flashing, did that and it worked perfect, been trying a few times with the video instructions and it was a huge fail everytime.

Thank you so much for this. Just tried it and it worked perfectly. I have had this problem for years and it was pissing me off. I even sent it on service so someone could repair it. It worked for a month or so, but then it started to do it again. but now it workes perfectly, thanks to you. THANK YOU!

yes you have to take your finger off the buttom before the light stops flashing then rock the pedal a few times. This really works. Thanks god! Wrong info on here has caused me so much frustratration, this really works. enjoy!

@Kasty this video explains the process of how to use this function and is not specific to the common sense measure that it may need to be replicated a few times to adjust properly. but thanks for a 4 part bs explaination that again only had one valid point. now heres one for you sir- 1 fuck off 2 eat a dick 3 your moms got one leg 4 "and again" your welcome!
@openmind1984
Yes, in my opinion there is on mistake in this video!
You have to release the footswitch knob as soon as one LED is flashing. If you're holding it too long the LED stops flashing and "moves" around according to the expression pedal - like in this video! -> Fail!
Release the knob earlier and the LED continues flashing! Then rock the expression pedal down and up and down and up (at least 2 times - dont rock it completly toes up!). At last push the footswitch again - Setup completed!

This didn't work the first few times for me until I did this:
1) Play it for a good 15 minutes or more. I mean shift the hell out of your tone. Don't plug it in and bypass it, use it hard for at least 15 minutes.
2) Put it at heel down/toe up BEFORE you unplug it
3) Unplug and do as this guy did in the video
4) Crank the treadle back and forth NUMEROUS times. Be firm, but don't stand on it. I did it like 15-20 times.
Then power back on and it should be fine. Worked for me.
