I own a Mustang III, and have found that the best aspect of the amp is having the ability to customize one's own presets. The factory presets are all fine and good, but using this amp's "deep editing" capability to create your own truly places it well above other modeling combo amps.

how would the mustang 412 cabinet sound with a fender champion 600. Would it improve the pure sound quality of the combo?

Would you recommend it?

I think the clean and crunch sounds are great, but the high gain stuff sounds just aweful

Yeah Right OK what does this sound like in front of a Drummer and a Bass player who are trying to kill you ?

How does is sound with pedals in front of it?

What about the fizzy sound issue?
Traded in my VOX AD50VT and bought the Mustang III.
A great amp for the price.!
Is it a tube amp?
No, but it does so much more then the one trick pony type amps.

I have the Mustang V and Mustang III and love the Versatility. With a bit of knob twisting you can get a surprisingly good Marshall and AC-30. I own lots of valve amps and the Vypyrs, Line 6 and the Mustang sounds more organic and responsive to pick dynamics than other modelling gear. I would buy the Mustang amp for the Fender Bassman presets alone.
