I used the same number Chris got from Brown's "Ship of Riddles" website... Mr. Brown performed an amazing analysis, without actually building any models. Yes, my cockpit corridor has a slope, and my forward hold may actually be more pie-wedge-shaped than rectangular... but the thing is, sofar all my design choices seem to work. And I can't wait to see how your design choices influence your model - please continue and please finish your model! Right now I'm trying to build a life-size Death Star.
I think you SHOULD continue with the model, regardless of others having done it - hasn't stopped me! LOL - otherwise your solution is out of context and therefore unproven... it's so much easier to provide solutions out of context... don't you think? Dude - it's time to model-up! Put your ideas to a real test.
your dimension seems to be the same as Chris Lee's Full-Scale Falcon Project values.
I used the Star Wars Blueprints: The Ultimate Collection value of 34.75m
I see the corridor to cockpit has a slope.
and the forward hold has trapezoidal shape.

@brookestephen
well, I'm not going to model the exterior,
since excellent exterior models already
exist at scifi3d site. which can be downloaded for free.
my goal was to fit the interior into existing
exterior model, and also make it consistant with what you see on the movies. which I believe I have achieved
with my double decker design.
