Today decided to tune out of DAa and try out choring in DAD tuning. I learned "Rosin the Beau" by watching Bing Futch's video (dread66mon) and am quite pleased how much translates over from fingerpicking a guitar. A few rough spots, but one can't be too picky on day three. I was happy to find my good old harmonics, though.
This is played on an '86 Cherry wood Folkcraft (FSH model) that I bought for $30.00. I'd say I made out like a bandit. A special thanks to my friend Jen for spying it, and not even knowing what it was; just that it was something "calling out for Jake".
So, this is day three of learning the Dulcimer. I can't wait to get good!
GOOD JOB
