Not at all. Back in the day, Beck wouldn't shut UP about Daniel Johnston. On the Beck and Dava tape, he's gabbing on and on about Daniel's career up to the 1990s. He even mentioned him in songs (Don't Believe the Joke They Put on You) and covered some of Dan's stuff (True Love Will Find You in the End/Some Things Last a Long Time)!
