I think it's interesting that in all American history-programs they make the French and Indian War look like an independent war, while it actually was a part of the Seven Years War

You can see the Civil War forming. The south had a lot of slaves and was Pro England while the north didn't want to be a part of England and didn't have much slavery.

@Yehudittx Quebec was for a time a French Colony, but that was long before Canada became a Country and eventually, long before the American Revolution, Quebec had been won by the British.

@corcaighrebel ..... yes!! You are the most correct person here by saying that! :D I just LOVE HISTORY, esp. history of the Americas before 1900. But you are most right! Since Indians, Inuit and Metis ppl were here before anyone else, that alone makes both continents THEIRS, NOT the whites.
