  • Biggest tax cuts on super-rich in US History & results

    Coolidge - Depression & unemployment over 20%

    Reagan - Recession & unemployment over 10%

    Bush - Recession & unemployment near 10%

No, major decreases in taxes on super-rich did not increase employment.

    Insanity is...

  • @4gl2 - data do not support your claim.

GDP goes up in almost all years because of inflation & population growth

But some of our worst years on GDP occurred after tax reduction & some of our best occured in periods of increased taxation

  • You keep it up man free speech don't stop telling it how it is i and all my friends look up to you

  • @miiiishaohmisha wow with your age you sure are uneducated. Its easy to blame the other side isnt it? I could easily say the same about the Lib heads. Obama has added more to the debt than Bush ever did. Bush was fighing a war people and if you didnt know that takes money. Obama is spending our tax dollars on a socialist Healthcare system that will never work.

Love ya dude, but that's spelled and pronounced "Democratic," as in "the Democrat-IC Senator from the state of New York." The root word "Democrat" doesn't also function as an adjective like the word "Republican" does. IDK, if you did it in purpose, but it kinda makes you sound retarded. Lol, after all, who would talk about the "Republic senator from Ohio," for example? Lol!

He moved over to Current. His show's gonna come on for the hour immediately prior to Countdown w/Keith Olbaermann, once it premieres. Only it's gonna be an actual TV edition if TheYoungTurks, and not just Cenk w/a camera.

  • I'm 60 this year, so I've lived under all the Presidents since Eisenhower!... Except for Eisenhower, EVERY republican President has brought on or left behind, a recession! Every damned one of them, and left every single incoming Democrat President, not only the challenges of his day, but the task of fixing the economic train wreck left to him by the previous republican in the White House.

  • I would encourage everyone to look back to the late 1980's, to see how LONG these issues have been issues... and yeaaah, balanced budgets... Gop 0, Dems at least 1 I know of (I should be ashamed I can't think of more but) yeaaaauh Dems one at least and that was Clinton... after entering with record deficits left by GHW Bush.... in 8 years in office, entered office with typical war time deficits, left office with half a trillion SURPLUS and Balanced Budget.

  • @4gl2u "In this case, you're completely ignoring the Federal reserve and the effect it has on the market." Explain and provide examples. I'm interested, since although correlation does not provide causality, it should be noted that one should still be careful of such tax breaks because there is a correlation, since the confounding usually does relate the two indirectly. We all know GOP's know nothing about economics and the like as well.

  • that was harsh.

  • Cenk went IN. I love it. How is his show doing on MSNBC? Anybody know?
