My Friends and I Rasterbating

Kyle and Caleb just moved into their new dorm. The wall was looking a little empty so we decided to do this thing that we learned about online. It is called rasterbating. We used 152 sheets of paper, but it was totally worth it in the end.
The song is a mashup called "Pop Culture" by Madeon.

I did a Rasterbated poster 4 years ago and it came out great. I can't get the damn site to load now though; where is the Rasterbator located??

Out of interest...how many megapixels was this image?

@s4189332 It was just a 2366 × 768 image. Rasturbation takes the image and samples it to make small (7mm in this case) points. From a distance it looks like a full image.

@BurntPizzaProduction tyvm for this closeup. Is there a reason why you did not choose smaller Pixel sizes ? Just asking would like to try this but am not really sure about the effect of smaller vs larger Pixels

@Loathing75 The Rasterbator that we used did a minimum of 7mm pixels. Larger pixels makes the colors melt together a bit more (such as on the buildings where there is a lot of activity.

nice one...but what resolution did you have and what pixel size did you use to rasterize ? Would be interesting to see a closeup of one of those sheets :)
