Hide: Severus Snape

If you haven't read Deathly Hallows, this won't make any sense to you, and it will totally spoil it.

I've always wanted to make a video focusing around Snapes death and all the things going through his head as he lay dying; how he gave up his entire life for Lily, and after that the protection of her son, only to have it all end with his own death. I'm sure the only question running through his mind was 'Was is worth it?'
I also thought he may not be as aware of what was going on around him. As he tries to staunch the wound at his neck, lying alone on the floor of the Shrieking Shack, he thinks of Lily, so when Harry comes to his side, Snape thinks it Lily coming to take him to death. He reaches out to her, and when he grabs Harry, he comes back to reality long enough to remember he gave his life to Harry, and gives him his memories, before seeing Harry's eyes again and thinking it Lily. He remembers how he was the one responsible for Lily's death, and is hit with waves of sorrow, until something perhaps 'otherworldly' makes him remember how he protected Harry so many times before. He shoves the memory from his mind, too broken over her death to even consider the idea that by protecting her son he repaid his debt of life to Lily. During the rest of the video, he can't stop blaming himself for Lily's death, even though he is bombarded unwillingly by his memories of protecting Harry, as if Lily wants him to remember, and has forgiven him. He snaps back to reality long enough to look into Harry's eyes, into her eyes, one last time, before slipping away.

I think the rest of the video is self-explanatory, just pay attention to the lyrics.

The green snape face when he's doing the spell on Harry is really bad sharon haha. The rest of the video is good, but Shan, he looks like Elphaba o sumfin. Just him in normal color would look okay, but then again it reminds me of the whole scene in lord of the rings the fellowship of the ring when Frodo is hurt by the blade and Elrond is trying to say some words to bring him back to good health and even that is terrible.

Snape has always been my favorite character ever since the first book came out. Everyone asked me why because they all thought he was a jerk, true he really didn't show his true intentions will around the last books. This song fit so well. I love the video it was done very good. The scenes matched with what was being sung in the song.
