I live in Trenton, and I'll say 2 things:

1)Yes, 51 deaths over the last 5 years is a horrible thing, and every one of them represents a precious life lost. But when you compare this to a city like Philadelphia, which had THOUSANDS of murders over the same period, I think the reputation Trenton has earned is undeserved. This is a great city.

2)There is only one solution to this problem: JOBS. If you want to know why this happens, you should add in some photos of shuttered factories.

There is over 1.4 million people in philly, and 75,000 people in Trenton, so its all relative. There are jobs but people have to want to work. The culture has to change, the education system has to change and parent have to start parenting. Then you will see a difference. Untill the family structure is fixed this nonsense will continue.
