This is a set on my old National tenor played at the Plough & Stars in San Francisco, CA in 2002. This was the release performance for my "shatter the calm" CD. I'm joined by Kyle Thayer on Guitar, and Kris Willits on Bodhran. "the Banjo Reel" is one of my few compositions.

Thanks for watching. My CDs can be found here:

  • that looks like a dobjo? a dobro banjo? it all sounds sweet.

  • 1928 -ish national resophonic tenor guitar. Tuned GDAE.

  • Congrats on your composition. So difficult to compose a tune that sounds like nothing that's gone in the 120 years before but you've managed it so well!

  • Well done.
