  • how is it compared to the durango?

  • @MrPicaldy

I only have driven the asso 4x4 3 times (i own a durango) what i can tell from that. The durango has a bit more steering then the asso, don't get me wrong the asso has also a lot of steering. Also i noticed that the durango is more forgiving in the corners if you give to soon or to much throttle when you come out of a corner the durango handles better.

  • @slashyful Thanks for your reply. And does the sc10 have swaybar in it? Also have you broke any parts on durango? I heard the ring gear stripped easily. I'm confuse which truck to buy.

  • @MrPicaldy

No there are no sway bars in the kit with the sc10 and also the durango. But you can make them your self for the asso and the durango. I don't have any parts broken yet also no diff ring gears if you build them proper like shown on the 'how to' at the durango website they are as good as any other diff.

They are both great cars but i like the Durango the most also because it looks so good it's the most good looking SC car i've ever seen and i've seen them all (except the losi 4x4)

  • What kind of motor and esc are u running

  • @H0B0DEAN

-Castle 4 pole 3800kv motor with a MMP esc

-Traxxas VXL motor with a ezrun 60amp esc (not the best combo but i works the electronics are getting hot tho)

both a ace1050 servo and of course a 2s lipo

  • @slashyful Thanks, your feedback helps alot

  • i'm torn between this and the NexxSC. Really like the tunability of the SC10 4X4, but my Dad already has a SCRT10. So I could steal parts (aka borrow) when we're at the track. i'm leaning more towards the SC10 4X4 due to the ability to run 10th scale electronics.

  • I saw it run. this is with an simple small ezrun 60A speedo and an old traxxas velinion motor.
